This beautifully designed ring has a heart shaped pattern at the front with a white teardrop synthetic opal hand set in the centre. The ring is solid sterling silver, and is very elegant, and part of the Azura Collection.

Each pair are handmade and are unique in their own way, the opal will reflect different colours depending on which angle you look at them, this particular stone appears to have different shades of white, green and pale pink, truly beautiful.

Each 925 Silver piece is coated in an e-coat which is a hypoallergenic clear coating to help protect the jewellery, it can also help to protect it from tarnishing. There are further steps to help reduce the effects of tarnishing such as keeping the jewellery in anti-tarnish bags and paper.

Opal Information and Care

Opals are a very unique stone, they are commonly found in 'white' however there are different rainbow-like iridescence which appears to change colours depending on the angle that you're viewing it. Hence why when we photograph our jewellery we try to create different angles, so you can see all the true beauty in each individual stone.

Are opals unlucky? The answer is no, opal has been regarded as the luckiest and most magical of all gems because it can show all colours.

It is very important to take care of these precious stones, for example I would recommend if you are wearing opal jewellery remove it before doing tasks such as working out, cleaning, or getting wet and if you are planning to wear make up or perfume apply this before putting on the jewellery.

Wipe clean only with a damp cloth and do not apply harsh chemicals, if you aren't wearing your opal jewellery for a while please store in a small plastic bag with a wet napkin or cloth this will help prevent drying out and cracking.
